The word “homage” is defined as “dutiful respect; reverence; honor” that is shown or expressed publicly. Homage was inspired by Matthew 19:19, and is dedicated to my mom and dad. They were both powerful influences in my life, and demonstrated throughout their lifetime to our family what it means to sacrifice for the ones that you love.
It is my hope that Homage will provide students with a song that they will enjoy learning to play and provide other music educators with a teaching tool that can be used in helping to motivate and encourage their students.
