The horn quartet german hornsound has earned a strong international reputation based on its exceptional profile and has made guest appearances at all music festivals in German-speaking Europe over the past years. The ensemble's repertoire spans all the periods of music history. One of the ensemble's goals is not only to work on original horn quartet literature but also to arrange works they like. This resulted in a large number of great pieces which are all published in their own GHS edition at Blechbläsersortiment Köbl.
One special project is "The Books", a new and extensive collection of music for horn quartet for every occasion. Five different volumes which are exciting and interesting for horn players of any level.
