So, you want to play an Alexander but you still desire to play a Geyer wrap horn.....THIS is the answer to your woes. It's a Geyer style Alexander known as the 503. It's made of lacquered yellow brass with a detachable flare (Alexander/Lawson ring). This horn is all original and has perfect compression (0.1). There are the usual minor dings but there is no evidence of any former repairs that I could see. Due to their weight the Alexander horns have a very specific sound as can be heard in the Berlin Phil. Great sizzle on the fortissimo passage! Used professionally in studios in LA and Europe.
All of this AND the horn comes with the smaller Alexander 'Gentleman's Case'.
Why buy a used mid grade horn when you can get this truly professional instrument for the same cost.
