Yamaha YHR867's are rarely on the market because they were SO successful. Players who purchased them kept them and still play them. This one, #1017, is the 17th horn made. It is made of unlacquered yellow brass and features an aftermarket bell cut and a left hand flipper. One tuning slide crook has been replaced with and 861 crook, but this has no affect on the way the horn plays.
The compression measures a 1.9 which is good!
The Yamaha 867 was part of the 'Custom' series of horns which followed the 861. They're made to the highest professional standard.
Yamaha detachable bell case included.
