In the early 1980's Yamaha introduced their first custom line of horns. A Geyer model, a Schmidt model, and this model; the Kruspe model, YHR862.
They immediately became a hit and this model threatened to overtake the coveted slot held by Elkhart 8D's. This horn is in excellent all original condition. It is made of unlacquered nickel, with very few dings, the fingerhook has been moved. There is a protective guard on the inside of the bell tail where the thumb sits.
These horns are highly collectible and are great players.
