Schmidt (C.F.) Single Bb with stopping valve

The bell on this horn is probably worth the $1900 price alone!  This Bb/A Schmidt single horn, though quite old, has not been played much.  All the brass is thick and there are no patches.  This horn is entirely stock (original). It's made of brass (some older lacquer remains, but it has darkened with time).  There is a tiny bend to the leadpipe, and there are the expected dings throughout BUT the horn has near perfect compression (0.2)!!!
Not only is it a historically significant maker, but it's in great playing condition.
