Schmid Wide Hand Hammered Flare with Garland

Engelbert Schmid flares tend to be QUITE expensive!  This one is not - simply because it has had some dent work which has been repaired and thus you can see the 'waves' in the flare.  These flares are extremely light (thus the previous damage), but that is what gives them their special sound.  This one is made of lacquered yellow brass (there is some lacquer wear) with an engraved garland.  Most of the previous work was done around the rim of the bell and can still be seen but the ring is unaffected.  Basically all of this is just cosmetic - and does not affect the sound.  These typically cost double this amount.
