A compensating double horn with good tight valves is a joy to play. They're light and agile. If you've ever taken out all the F slides on your horn and played the Bach B minor mass you'll know the feeling, but since this is a compensating double it has all the benefits of being light will still being able to access those 'F' notes (pedal notes).
This one is made of lacquered Gold/Red brass with a detachable bell (Paxman Ring). Minor dings, and the expected lacquer wear, but overall in good condition.
Big dark sound for such a light instrument.
