This is a rare instrument. Monke is famous for their rotary trumpets so it makes sense that they would also make a high end Wagner Tuba. This one was made for a member of the Koln Philharmonic (Cologne Philharmonic) in Germany and has the engraving to prove it!
The compression is great at 1.9. This Tuba is made of lacquered yellow brass (though much of the lacquer is gone) and it has a 4th lever to have more tuning options. (You'll need these options when you play in a section of WT's...trust me). There are many small dings but nothing that would affect the way it plays.
