Lawson horns are getting more and more difficult to find these days due to their resurgence of popularity. They make a huge beautiful sound that is round and without much edge. This horn is made of unlacquered brass and has great compression at 1.4. A Duerk flipper has been added as well as a waterkey on the 3rd Bb slide. A Patterson leadpipe *custom made* is installed as well. There are 3 guards/patches on the horn - 2 up top where one normally carries the horn and another on the bell tail below the fingerhook area. The bell is nice and sturdy and has no thin spots, but it can be a bit tricky to screw on. 2 Amado waterkeys have been installed. This horn has decades of playing ahead of it. You should be the one playing it! :)
