King 'Pelletier' double (Schmidt model) #166578

Whenever I hear people discuss how more gentle bends in a horn makes it play more 'openly' I always ask them if they ever played a Schmidt style horn.  Full of lots of tight bends but extremely free blowing horns!
This King, circa 1930, is made of unlacquered yellow brass.  Given its age it is in quite good condition as there are not thin spots or patches.  This horn has most of its life ahead of it.  There are minor dings here and there, but nothing big.
