Hoyer worked with Myron Bloom (Former principal horn of the Cleveland Orchestra) to produce an instrument that would rival/surpass the Conn 8D.  It's a powerful horn with a dark sound.  This one is made of unlacquered nickel with a lawson/Alexander ring.  It has an adjustable fingerhook, and the modern minibal linkages mean that you never need to worry about a last minute broken string.  It's in excellent condition with only a few tiny imperfections/dings.  Save THOUSANDS over a new one - all of this and it comes with a brand new Protec case.  The compression is 1.1 which is great!
