If you want that 8D style of sound without all the headaches that come with purchasing a Conn 8D (I used to play one, I know.....) then the Hoyer 6801 is a perfect horn for you.
This one has perfect compression (0.1) so it has all its life ahead of it. It's made of lacquered nickel with a detachable bell (all original). An Alexander flipper/duckfoot has been added as well as 2 lever style waterkeys (on the leadpipe, and the F tuning slide).
It has lots of small dents and lacquer wear - but as was mentioned before, the compression is perfect and it was kept well oiled. This horn does not include a case.
