This Holton H200 is a descant horn that sits in the key of B-flat with a high F and stopping change valve. It is made of lacquered yellow brass and has all original Holton parts, with the exception of a Dürk duckfoot (Dürkfoot?) that has been soldered on for left hand comfort. All 5 valves use mechanical linkage and the compression reads at 1.6, which is great for this many valves and would pose no issues, though regular oiling is imperative to maintain the good reading. There is a fair amount of discoloration that was caused from the horn sitting for a long time in a case, but nothing that is damaging to the instrument in any way. There are also a number of tiny dents across the bell flare and tail as well as a couple on the tube coming out of the high F change calve, but they really are minor and could be taken out if the buyer wishes. The horn comes with a briefcase style detachable bell case. Stop stressing over the high range and check this one out today!
