It's made of lacquered yellow brass with nickel tubes. The bell is fixed and the horn is in overall quite good condition. Some lacquer scratching and wear, and tiny (REALLY tiny) dings. (I think I found 2).
You won't have to worry about your player putting the bell on and taking it off.
