Although this horn is indeed a "single B-flat" horn, the two change valves almost give it a triple feel. The horn sits in the key of B flat, has an F extension valve (adds a length of tubing to lower the key to F) and an A stopping valve (adds a smaller length of tubing to lower the key by half step). The two thumb valves use mechanical linkage to operate while valves 1,2, and 3 use string linkage.
All parts on the horn are original, including a lever style water key on the leadpipe, and a standard pinky hook and duckfoot installed for left hand comfort and control. As is typical with Finke horns, the leadpipe is completely detachable through the use of braces that screw the pieces together (rather than the leadpipe being soldered to the rest of the horn), which allows the player to interchange leadpipes without using a torch. The bell has been cut and uses a Lawson/Alexander ring and is in overall excellent cosmetic condition. It is made of unlacquered yellow brass and has only a few light dents in the bell tail. The horn comes with a detachable bell horn case and is available for trial today!
