Previously owned by probably one of the most famous 8D players to have graced us with his artistry, Myron Bloom, this 8D bears all of the hallmarks of one of Myron's instruments. It was common for him to take an 8D apart himself and mix and match specific parts with other horns until he found a combination that pleased him the most. This horn was made in 1957 and was played until 1971 where upon it was put into storage. The compression is still a surprisingly good 3.1. The horn is made of lacquered nickel and has recently been cleaned. The current owners teacher called it a "Cream Puff" meaning it is easy to play. Original Conn fixed bell case included.
