This 'post Elkhart' 8D is a perfect horn for those wanting a dark sound without breaking the bank. It has had its valves replated and thus has a great compression reading of 1.0. It is completely original and in overall good condition. There are no thin spots or patches - lots of nickel here! Some of the lacquer is worn or scratched, and minor dings here and there. A horn with tight valves by a well known American company for under 3K? - that's a great deal!
