You're looking at an Abilene Conn 8D when you should be playing it! The compression is fabulous at 1.9 and it's in good original condition with the exception that the lacquer has been removed. (That is a good thing!)
If you want to get that dark Hollywood style sound here's an inexpensive way to do it. Where else can you get one of these horns in this condition (there are only a few tiny dings) for such a low price!?
