This Conn 8D is a perfect example of what happens when you take good care of your investment.  This horn is in gorgeous condition with perfect compression (0.1).  It's all original - and other than a few very small dings (a few in the bell flare, and one at the bottom of the leadpipe) it's perfect.  These things sell for $6200 these days!!!  This one is half that price - it's like an early Christmas. 
Conn 8D's are known for having big dark sounds - (think of all those movie soundtracks!).
This horn comes with the orginal Conn case.
