This Conn 8D is an Elkhart 800000 series, made in 1960 the heyday of the 8D. All original except for a modified thumb lever, which allows for the horn to sit in either B flat or F. Most of the lacquer is coming off.  A Duerk flipper has been added.  If you're looking for a classic 8D, this is it.
