You're looking at an all original Conn 8D from their 'cherry' years. This horn was built in 1958 and it has perfect compression (0.1) due to a complete valve rebuild. There are NO patches on this fine horn, no thin spots and NO replaced parts. It shows the appropriate wear for a 70 year old instrument (minor dents here and there (bell tail and a few very minor slide dents), but this is the real thing. This horn plays beautifully. Dark sound, lots of power - the lacquer has all been removed (good thing! that is why there is no pitting on it).
Black fixed bell case is included.
