Atkinson Erfurt #0812

The Atkinson family has been making and importing horns for over 50 years.  This is their acclaimed Erfurt (Kruspe style) horn.  Made of unlacquered yellow brass, it is all original (except for the addition of a Durk slide lock).  The valves have near perfect compression (0.2) and this horn plays like one of the good old Elkhart 8D's without all the issues that plague them. A few minor dings here and there, but this is thousands below the cost of a new horn by Atkinson.
