Part of the fun of running this shop is getting to play a myriad of famous makers horns and customized models. This gold brass unlacquered 104 has a stopping valve that also works as an E and Eb valve on the F side. This will make playing those tricky passages in pieces like Mozart's Cosi Fan Tutti much easier. No more tripping over those awkward fingerings. This horn may look rough, but in actuality the valves have a compression of 1.6 and that is across 5 valves, which is astounding. It was purchased in Germany by the owners teacher and brought back to the US. At some point in time the handguard was replaced with a much longer one and a small patch was added to the F branch. The mechanical linkage on the change valve allows for easy switching to keep the horn sitting in Bb. Most importantly the horn actually plays really well.
Plastic FB case included.
