If you want to sound like Stefan Dohr or Sarah Willis, of you have to practice like a maniac. But one thing that will help you is to play the same equipment they do. The Alexander 103 is arguably the foremost played horn in the world. The sound is unmistakable and their history reaches back well over a century.
This yellow brass, lacquered 103 has excellent compression at 0.3 and is in all original condition. There is wear on the leadpipe handguard and just a couple of missing spots of lacquer. Small dings here and there, but nothing that will affect the playability of the horn. The main tuning slide has been lengthened by 1/2 an inch, which is a boon if you play in an American orchestra. Machanical linkages mean never having to worry about broken strings in performance again.
Comperssion is a 0.3
