Rico Kuehn's triple horns are among the best out there. This W393X made of lacquered gold brass is certainly no exception, with a nice even sound across registers and different keys (low F, B flat, high F). The levers are a combination of mechanical linkage on valves 1, 2, and 3 and string linkage on both thumb valves. The compression reads at about 3.0, which is actually pretty good seeing as that is across a total of 6 valves. There is an Alexander duck foot installed for left hand comfort, and two spit valves for plumbing convenience. The bell is detachable, and the instrument comes with a Bags detachable bell horn case.
