Holton horns are about as classic as they come: an old American line of horns that many, many professional hornists got their starts on. Save yourself the trouble of dealing with the band room's crusty and Kruspe-wrap Holton - check out this H179!
The horn is made of lacquered nickel silver and is in excellent condition. There are some extremely light scratches along the bell tail and some minor dents in the bell, but nothing that would impact performance. The valves all operate using string linkage and have a compression reading of 1.8, which is good and with proper oiling the horn could have a very long life. All parts are original, including a pinky hook soldered on for better left hand grip, a lever style spit valve off the leadpipe, and the bell which is non-detachable. The horn comes with a black, Holton, fixed-bell case.
