This triple horn from Finke is in gorgeous cosmetic condition. It is made of lacquered yellow brass, and with the exception of some hard-to-see small dents on the detachable bell it is in perfect condition. There is also a small dent on the high F side leadpipe going into the valve cluster, but again it is minor. The valves all utilize mechanical linkage, with the high F change valve using an interesting design to open/close a separate piston and rotor valve with the same lever. The idea of changing the direction of air so close to the mouthpiece is so that the high F side of the horn has its own leadpipe and taper, creating an ideal sound quality and resistance. There is an Alexander duckfoot brace soldered on (you would just need the actual duckfoot) and there is a Clebsch handstrap copy attached as well. Two lever style spit valves are installed on the main tuning and F branch slides. The compression sits at 4.5, which runs across 6 valves and is therefore acceptable. For those in the market for a triple horn but don't want to pay top dollar, I'd highly recommend checking out this one! The horn does not come with a case.
