Sound protector; while the conventional Leather Guard the leadpipe and the sound completely surrounds and thus limits the response capability of the horn, the sound protector is only a small area on the horn and allows the instrument to vibrate freely. In addition, not "dry" sound protector on the horn as the conventional hand protection and thus the sweat can not inflict on the surface of the instrument.

Great product!
It protects the horn great and gives you more resonance than an average wrap. You can adjust the wrap to either fit snug or loose. Padding on the interior of the wrap is very comfortable.

Does Its Job
Aside from adequately protecting the horn, this guard scores bonus points for actually providing comfort to the user: the palm area has a double layer of leather, which makes it nicely cushioned, while at the same time not being too thick to be used by smaller hands.
